- Salt Lake City, Utah:
- The picnic will be hosted on August 20, 2022 with attractions such as food vendors, bingo, and giveaways!
- Pittston, Pennsylvania:
- The picnic will be hosted on August 27, 2022 with a Pride and Polish competition, bingo, rides, and more!
- Welcome to our new associate Emma! She is a masseuse and will be offering massages Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 10:00-17:00 as well as Wednesdays and Thursdays from 09:00-15:00!
- Improvements to our facilities are actively taking place.
- Springfield, Missouri:
- The Prime Truck Driving Championship and Pride and Polish will be hosted on September 2, 2022.
- All you need to compete in the TDC is a CDL and a clean accident history.
- Prime drivers, Duane Grimme (refrigerated) and Scott Fischer (flatbed), will be competing in the National Truck Driving Championship located in Indianapolis in a few weeks.
- Safe, long-term parking is available at the Minooka terminal.
- This week: 148 total inspections – 97 clean (66% clean rate).
- $9,400 has been paid out this week for drivers with clean inspections.
- When backing use G.O.A.L. (Get Out And Look) to help prevent accidents.
- If someone is on the shoulder of the road, always move out of the right lane.
- This is a law in many states.
- If you can’t move over, slow down and move as far over in your lane as you can.

- Salt Lake City, Utah:
John Hardin – Safety
- Have a large Abloy lock on your trailer at all times.
- Abloy locks cannot be easily cut therefore prevent theft.
- If you don’t have one, go to the outbound lanes at the Springfield terminal and trade in your current lock to receive an Abloy lock for a discounted price.
- Abloy locks are also sold in the company store at full price.
- During pretrip, take a picture of your locked (with an Abloy lock) trailer with the seal and trailer number in the picture.
- If someone breaks into your trailer and you have this picture, you will not be held liable for any theft.
Matt Hancock – Driver Health & Fitness
- Flatbed driver, Chris Sheppard, won the Fit in 15 weight loss competition losing 45.4 pounds in just 15 weeks!
- The Fit in 15 program is available all year long with the competition starting on the first of the year and lasting 15 weeks.
- There are many other programs available to our drivers including sleep apnea help with Cardinal Sleep, general healthcare with Trinity, and even a program called Rigs Without Cigs to help you stop smoking!
- Go to any terminal to talk to a member of Driver Health and Fitness in person.
Justin Kaufman – Road Assist & Maintenance
- Make sure to check your tire inflation light and stop within half a mile if it turns on.
- Steer tires need to have a depth of 4/32 in every major tread groove (grooves with wear bars) and drive and trailer tires need to have a depth of 2/32 in every major tread groove.
- The back of most trucks have jumper posts compatible with two to four gauge jumper cables.
- Pro Maintenance have been moved to classroom C5 at Campus Inn in Springfield, MO one Tuesdays and Thursdays from 13:00-16:00.
- These classes will soon be available at the Pittston terminal as well.
