Meet Darrel Wilson

Wil-Trans started in 1990 with 12 trucks by former drivers. Working with Prime, we have since grown to an over the road fleet made up of over 100 trucks. We are a small company leased on to Prime, one of the largest reefer carriers in the country.

Since day one, Prime has provided more than just freight for our drivers. With their help, we are able to offer our lease operators benefits such as fuel and tire discounts, 100% fuel surcharge reimbursement, as well as awards and benefits that match industry leaders. And with our recent coordination with Prime's new Advance Program, we're helping guys starting out with their own trucks to be successful, too. After all, that's how we started 14 years ago.

Under Prime's new Advance program drivers with or without their own authority can haul Prime's trailers and get paid on a weekly basis. Also, these new owner operators will be able to eliminate much of the overhead expenses that decrease their profits. For owner operators without their own authority, we at Wil-Trans, in coordination with Prime's Advance division, are able to offer Prime trailers, weekly pay, better rates, and better lanes than owner operators could get on their own.
