Prime offers many award programs to honor our hardest working and most dedicated contractors!
Prime Time Certified (PTC)
"Prime Time Certified" (PTC) Award Program recognizes driver associates who achieve outstanding on-time performance. These PTC awards are earned on quarterly, semi annually, and yearly basis of continuous on-time performance. Awards include patches, belt buckles, shirts and sweaters. At the 2-year level, associates receive a gold ring with one diamond. With every additional year of continuous on-time service, a diamond is added to the ring.
Contractor of the Month
The contractors chosen for the prestigious "Contractor of the Month" award are hand chosen by each department based on a number of qualities, such as mileage, on-time deliveries, tickets & accident free, and customer service. Drivers are nominated by their fleet managers, and an awardee is chosen each month in every department. Awardees receive:
- Driver's Name engraved on a "Contractor of the Month" plaque in the Millennium Building
- A free shirt (up to $25 value) embroidered with "Contractor of the Month" from our Company store
- $100 Cash
- Each awardee is automatically entered into our "Contractor of the Year" contest!

Contractor of the Year
Prime driver associates and in-house associates alike take the "Contractor of the Year " award very seriously indeed. This once-a-year honor is bestowed on the best drivers in each division, and the drivers receive a permenant display on our "Hall of Fame" (pictured above) Drivers are chosen from the among the recipients of our "Contractor of the Month" awards for the previous year. Awardees receive:
- A special plaque honoring the driver's achievements, on permenant display in our "Hall of Fame ", located in the Millennium Building of our Springfield, MO terminal
- A free jacket
- $1000 Cash
Millionaires Program
The "Millionaires" Program recognizes driver associates who have driven at least one million miles without a preventable accident. Qualifying driver associates receive a prize package and a personalized plaque displayed prominently in Prime's hall of Fame located in the terminal. The "Gold Level", Prime's highest level of safety achievement, is awarded to those who have driven a million miles at Prime. The "Silver Level" is awarded to driver associates who have accumulated a million miles or more throughout their driving career at various carriers, including Prime.
